Dr. Eyal Lewin is Chair of the Department of Middle East Studies and Political Science at Ariel University and mentor of fifteen active PhD students and post-graduate students. Editor-in-Chief of National Resilience, Politics and Society. The papers and books that he authored and edited are mainly in the field of political psychology and political sociology, focusing on Israeli society but taking a comparative approach.
Before entering the academy, Lewin managed a company for business development. Lewin also serves, for forty years now, as a Major in the reserve forces of the IDF, currently positioned at the Home Front Command.
