In Poland, the financial condition of its population is the subject of research conducted by the. An income per capita is being, the average wage is calculated and the level of satisfaction with the current financial situation is being tested as well. However, in their analysis, Central Statistical Office omits a certain social group - the students - now, this group represents 4.2% of the entire Polish population. Having this in mind, a research hav been conducted in order to characterized the structure of income and expenditure in relations to Polish students. In the introduction of this article a brief description of the country has been presented and the structure of income and expenditure of the whole Polish population has been characterized as well. In the further part of the article, the purpose of the research, the used methods and obtained results are presented.
