Resiliencia organizacional, estrategia socioecológica y sostenibilidad en grandes empresas de México
Abstract
El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar las estrategias socioecológicas de grandes empresas en México, su relación con la resiliencia organizacional y la sostenibilidad. Por medio de la metodología cualitativa, se analizó información de las 20 organizaciones de capital privado más importantes de México de acuerdo con sus ingresos netos por medio de sus páginas web y los informes anuales en materia de “sustentabilidad” para conocer si la resiliencia organizacional está presente en sus acciones, cuál es su estrategia socioecológica y la sostenibilidad que ejercen. Finalmente se presentan consideraciones de la relación que existe entre los tres conceptos del análisis (resiliencia, estrategia socioecológica y sostenibilidad) respecto a las empresas analizadas. Los resultados del estudio muestran los ejes en los que se fundamentan las estrategias socioecológicas, algunas acciones resilientes de las empresas y la utilización de los conceptos asociados a la sustentabilidad como una estrategia administrativa.
This paper analyzes the administrative strategies of large firms in Mexico according to the categories of socioecological strategies, organizational resilience strategies, and sustainability strategies. The study identifies the twenty highest-net-grossing privately-held firms in Mexico according to their net income as reported online and in annual reports. We use qualitative methodologies to analyze the sustainability sections of these annual reports to document each firm's socioecological, organizational resilience, and sustainability strategies. Finally, we present conclusions regarding the relationship between these three strategies of socioecology, resilience, and sustainability in the firms analyzed. The study's results identify the presence of socioecology, resilience, and sustainability as administrative strategies according to the firms’ axes the actions the firms are implementing, and the central concepts in which the firms base their presentation of the strategy.
