ETUDE DE LA REACTIVITE MICROBIOLOGIQUE ET DE L’EFFET TOXIQUE SUR CARASSIUS AURATUS DU GLUTARALDEHYDE
Abstract
Glutaraldehyde is widely used in industry as an effective biocide. The hospital hygiene uses it in large quantities due to its physicochemical properties (reactivity, vapor pressure). However, glutaraldehyde proves toxic to human and animal health. The study of the glutaraldehyde effects on “Carassius auratus family of cyprinadae freshwater” highlights the extreme nuisance of glutaraldehyde on the environment and the lethal concentration (LC50) determined by the weight of goldfish, emphasizes the harmfulness of glutaraldehyde-based solutions.Downloads
