Conflit intercommunautaire Arabe-Choa/Mousgoum et troubles d’attachement chez les adolescents de Logone Birni (Cameroun)
Abstract
L’article aborde la problématique des conflits intercommunautaires entre Arabe-Choa et Mousgoum dans l'Arrondissement de Logone Birni, Département de Logone et Chari, Région de l'Extrême-Nord Cameroun et des troubles de l'attachement chez les adolescents. Dans ce contexte, les troubles de l'attachement, qui se manifestent souvent par des difficultés relationnelles et émotionnelles, constituent un phénomène préoccupant. Le problème central réside dans le fait que ces conflits intercommunautaires peuvent engendrer des troubles psychologiques chez les adolescents. Comment les conflits intercommunautaires entre Arabes-chaos et Mousgoum participent à l’émergence des troubles d’attachement chez les adolescents de Logone Birni ? Pour répondre à cette question, des entretiens qualitatifs ont été menés avec 10 adolescents afin d'explorer leurs expériences personnelles des conflits intercommunautaires. L'analyse qualitative a révélé que ces adolescents expriment souvent un sentiment d'insécurité émotionnelle et une difficulté à établir des relations saines avec leurs pairs. Sur la base des résultats obtenus, un certain nombre de recommandations sont proposées, des programmes de soutien psychologique ciblant spécifiquement les adolescents touchés par ces conflits devraient être mis en place. Des modules sur la résolution pacifique des conflits devraient être intégrés dans les programmes scolaires afin de promouvoir la cohésion sociale. Il faut encourager davantage d'études longitudinales pour mieux comprendre l'évolution des troubles de l'attachement dans ce contexte spécifique.
This article deals with the problem of intercommunity conflicts between Arabe-Choa and Mousgoum in the Arrondissement of Logone Birni, Department of Logone et Chari, Far North, Region of Cameroon, and with attachment disorders in adolescents. In this context, attachment disorders, often manifested by relational and emotional difficulties, are a worrying phenomenon. The central problem is that these inter-community conflicts can lead to psychological disorders in adolescents. How do inter-community conflicts between Arab-Chao and Mousgoum contribute to the emergence of attachment disorders in Logone Birni adolescents? To answer this question, of qualitative interviews were conducted with 10 adolescents to explore their personal experiences of intercommunity conflict. Qualitative analysis revealed that these adolescents often expressed a sense of emotional insecurity and difficulty in establishing healthy relationships with their peers. Based on the results obtained, a number of recommendations are proposed: psychological support programs specifically targeting adolescents affected by these conflicts should be set up. Modules on peaceful conflict resolution should be integrated into school curricula to promote social cohesion. More longitudinal studies should be encouraged to better understand the evolution of attachment disorders in this specific context.
